Adnan Oktar's Meeting with The Representatives of Iran Mahdi Institute (Bright Future Institute) (12 December 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Dear Sirs, welcome. First of all, you have honored us as our Iranian brothers. You know, we love you very much. We do not accept a discrimination between Sunni or Shi'a. Sunnis and Shi'as are brothers; they are brothers of one another both in this world and the Next. They are very pure, blessed people. Those striving to spread the Sunni-Shi'a enmity stir a great fitnah; we can never accept that fitnah. We are also in charge of demolishing this fitnah. We will remove this fitnah ideologically and with love insha'Allah (with the leave of God).
SEYYED ASADOLLAH AVAEI: Insha'Allah. We believe that as Quran says "Qul innama aizukum biwaĥidatin an taqumu lillahi mathna wa furada" (Say: ‘I exhort you to do one thing alone: to stand before Allah in pairs and on your own...’ (Surat Saba', 46)). I think that Qur'an is between us and we can both side as Shia and Sunni -you know- follow the Quran's commandment. And we believe that you are with your good intention, you and your group, following this commandment of Allah subhana wa ta'ala (glorious and exalted is Allah).
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha'Allah (God has willed it). Masha'Allah. This is the most important issue of course. The most important issue is the unity of the entire Islamic world and the Turkish world -indeed in the Turkish world everyone is Muslim-. Insha'Allah this will be possible in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as), in our age. According to our creed, Hazrat Mahdi (as) has come. Insha'Allah Islam will prevail all over the world. Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Kazakhistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, they will all unite insha'Allah. By Allah's leave, we will bring about a glorious civilization insha'Allah.
SEYYED ASADOLLAH AVAEI: Alhamdulillah (Praise to God), Alhamdulillah. We consider Mr. Harun Yahya as one of the most sincere companions of Imam Mahdi (as). Because he used, he mixed the art and science to attract people to the religion, especially young people.
ADNAN OKTAR: Elhamdulillah. Laying the ground for Hazrat Mahdi (as) is a duty upon every Muslim. And we are also striving to discharge this duty in our own humble way insha'Allah.
SEYYED ASADOLLAH AVAEI: Insha'Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR: The coming of Messiah (as) is also nigh, insha'Allah. You know All-Mighty Allah stated Prophet Jesus' (as) coming in the Qur'an. I take refuge in Allah from satan; "He is a Sign for the Hour." In another verse, All-Mighty Allah states -I again take refuge in Allah from satan- "I will place the people who follow you above those who are disbelievers until the Day of Rising." This is an obvious verse related to the dominion of Islam over the world. In another verse All-Mighty Allah states, I take refuge in Allah from satan, "There is not one of the People of the Book who will not believe in him (Prophet Jesus) before he dies". That is to say, everyone will believe in him. This is again a verse from the Qur'an related to the dominion of Islam over the world and the coming of the Messiah (as). By Allah's leave, we are awaiting Messiah's coming in one-two decades, insha'Allah.
The time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) and Prophet Jesus (as) will be a period of peace, a period of brotherhood. And all weapons will be removed from the face of the Earth insha'Allah. No blood will be shed. Friendship and brotherhood will pervade everywhere insha'Allah.
SEYYED ASADOLLAH AVAEI: Insha'Allah. And we are waiting to see some work from you about Imam Mahdi (as) which makes unity between all religions, insha'Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR: Insha'Allah, by Allah's leave, this will come about completely in this century. Judaism and Christianity, all of them will unite within Islam. There will be no other religion except for Islam over the face of the world. This is related in the Qur'an. Yet until the prevalence of Islam. Until Prophet Jesus' (as) coming, Hazrat Mahdi (as) will command over Jews with the original Torah and command over Christians with the original Bible insha'Allah. When Hazrat Messiah (as) comes, he will be instrumental in all of their becoming Muslim insha'Allah.
SEYYED ASADOLLAH AVAEI: We absolutely agree with him because we believe that -especially in this time- that most people, majority of people around the world you know got this appointed from their administration that they were not able to solve the problem and they were not able to bring justice for them. So maybe the world is waiting for a divine man to solve all this problem and bring peace and justice for all.
ADNAN OKTAR: When Hazrat Mahdi (as) comes, actually he has come but when he appears, people will experience a great joy, insha'Allah. There will be a great social justice. Because of the abundance of possessions, some people will want to give back the possessions they took. That is to say, there will be such an abundance of goods. Taxes will be cancelled. People have neither heard nor seen such a period before. Insha'Allah, it will be a glorious time just like the time of Prophet Sulayman (as) and Prophet Dhul'qarnayn (as).
DR. MOHAMMAD SABER JAFARI:(Farsi speaking)
ALI ASGHAR HADDAD: In the name of God, the Compassionate the Merciful. First of all I thank you very much for your invitation again. And it's very nice to hear that you and your institute are working after a long time of western activities and separation between religion and science. You made reconciliation between religion and science. Right now it is a very good news from your institute and your works. And also we believe that Imam Mahdi has 25 to 27 science and knowledge himself. And right now we don't know that 25 science that Imam Mahdi will bring. And we hope that your work is in this way and we hope we will see some day that all science will be clear for us.
DR. MOHAMMAD SABER JAFARI:(Farsi speaking)
ALI ASGHAR HADDAD: Again, thank you very much for your hard work and activities in solving the problem of religion that western made by separating religion and science. Despite the fact that Islam always orders us to learn every science and knowledge. And right now may you are aware that we are in the circumstances, special situation that we believe that the future will be by poor and the oppressed people. And we believe that that the Imam Mahdi is the leader of the oppressed people and is someone who will bring justice for those who have been under the oppression by other bad people in the world.
ADNAN OKTAR: Insha'Allah, Masha'Allah. You know, related to Hazrat Mahdi (as), in the collection of the Buhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Ibn Maja, Sunan Nasai and Sunan Dawud, there are very comprehensive hadith from our Prophet (saas) about Hazrat Mahdi (as). In the Shi'a resources, there are also more or less the same hadith. In consensus, they describe Hazrat Mahdi (as) in all aspects; his appearance, the portents of his coming like the termination of the flow of the River Euphrates, the occupation of the Qaaba. Now Oktar will briefly explain these portents to you. You know these portents very well, and we know them also. But there is benefit in repeating them since these are the issues our listeners, brothers do not know. Otherwise, our hodjas are great scholars. You are great scholars, very precious people and you know these by heart but there is benefit in repeating them, insha'Allah.
OKTAR BABUNA: Our Prophet (saas) stated some of the signs of the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as). For example our Prophet (saas) stated in one of the hadiths that a bloody attack on the Qaaba would happen and this was realised in 1979. And also it is stated by our Prophet (saas) that Afghanistan would be conquered and this was realised. There would be a war between Iran and Iraq, this is stated to be a sign of the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as), and this has happened. Sun and lunar eclipses were told to be happen in the month of Ramadan and this was realised in 1981-1982 [in two following years with 15 days apart]. And also Iraq would be divided into three, it would be conquered and its army vanishes in the desert and they were all stated in the hadith and they were realised. There is gonna be a flame appearing in the East and one of the biggest tankers of the world, Independenta was exploded in Istanbul and the flame was all over and it was enlightening. So these are the signs. For example the conquest of Azarbaijan, the rise of the buildings, the economic crisis, and before the economic crisis there would be a drought. During the economic crisis, after the drought, appearance of a comet, the Lulin comet, two-tailed comet moves from West to East, as described in the hadith and it is brighter than normal and this happened in this year. After this there is going to be a lot of rain and flood and this was realised. Another comet stated in hadith by our Prophet (saas) is Halley commet; it appeared in 1986. So more than 150 signs, they've all happened before the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as) insha’Allah.
SEYYED ASADOLLAH AVAEI: Just I have to state two things. One of them is a question. My question is; I would like to know when and how -you know- you've got interested to the Mahdism. Something happened to him or? This is the first one. And the second one about the signs of the appearance of Imam Mahdi. You know we categorize the signs of the appearance in some categories. For instance, some signs are near to the time of the appearance; some signs are so far from the appearance. For instance, we have in our traditions that the termination of Abbasi Caliphate. It has happened as a sign, but it would be too far from the exact time of the appearance. And some of the signs are for certain. For instance, a call from the heaven, is one of the signs that will happen very near to the time of the appearance, time of Imam Mahdi, and it would be for instance a heavenly sign. So some of the signs are earthly, some of them are heavenly. Beside all of these you know categorizing this science, we believe that the time of the appearance is coming and it is near to us.
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, yes. Our Prophet (saas) says that the lifespan of the world is 7000 years. In the hadith Jalaladdin Suyuti, you know, Suyuti is a great Islamic scholar, explained this issue in details. In the section related to the lifespan of this world, there are about eight hadith. For instance one of his last hadith related from Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Ismail ibn Abdulqarim, Abdussamad, Vahb says; "5600 years has passed by in this world." Likewise, there is another trustworthy hadith related from Ibn Abbas: "He said that the world is 7 days and each day is like 1000 days." That means the lifespan of the world is 7000 years. In this account it says, "5600 years have passed by." When we subtract 5600 from 7000, 1400 remains. Hazrat Mahdi (as) has to come between 1400 and 1500. There is no other time left. For this reason, in this century, Hazrat Mahdi (as) should absolutely come. According to us he has already come.
